Let us take you on A Hedy Journey, exploring and celebrating life as a female engineer!

We are Sarah and Yvette, two engineers who met at a lead mine and now have a cross-continental long distance friendship, fueled by a mutual passion for engineering, feminism, wine, culture that’s not quite “pop” and intelligent conversation at strange hours.

Join us as we ponder professional development, feature our fave female role models, explore engineering masterpieces and life-hack late nights at the office/site/lab/pub. We’ll share our own journeys, offer advice from lessons learned, and seek to prepare (fortify) ourselves and our kindred sisters for life as both a modern woman and an engineer.

Our goal is to inspire other girls to become engineers, and stick with it through the good and the bad.
